The True Purpose of My Practice
I view Martial Arts not merely as a set of physical disciplines but as a college-level education for the soul. While the curriculum includes essential elements like drills, techniques, katas, and sparring, those mechanics represent only 10% of what l'm here to share.
My ultimate mission is to teach happiness.
In a time when stress is rampant and genuine connection is harder to find, too many people are looking for fulfillment in all the wrong places. This trend is deeply troubling, and it's time to course-correct. I urge you to:
• Learn to stand for yourself and embrace the strength of solitude.
• End the need to seek approval from others.
• Cultivate your relationship with God.
• Separate yourself from toxic influences, even if you love them.
• Make your daily Karate practice a path to discovering and embodying your true self.
Understand this: Karate is a lifestyle, a tool for living, but it is not your whole identity. Love fiercely, and commit to living every day with purpose and joy.
As I move forward, I'm choosing to be more selective about the energy I allow into my life and space. This is not judgment; it's self-preservation. I no longer have the bandwidth for people who are unwilling or unable to reach their potential. While you may recommend someone based on your good experience, I reserve the right to trust my own discernment.
